What is Updates?

The Updates page is your real-time (daily) changelog for everything happening in your active portfolio. Each morning, after the overnight registry sync completes, Dexin compares the latest data from the India trademark registry against what it previously stored — and surfaces every difference as a change entry.

This means your team is always informed about what changed overnight, without anyone needing to check the registry manually. Changes are logged with old and new values, timestamped, and linked to the relevant trademark record.

What Is Monitored

Dexin monitors 18 fields on every trademark record for changes:

Document Updates

When a new document is added to a trademark record at the India trademark registry — an exam report, a reply acknowledgement, an opposition notice, a renewal certificate — it appears in Updates with a direct download link.

Document links are available immediately after the overnight sync completes. No need to log in to the IP India website to download them.

Email Notifications

After the overnight change detection runs, Dexin compiles a notification email for each portfolio. These emails are reviewed and sent to the relevant portfolio users — so your team gets a morning summary of everything that changed overnight without needing to log in.

Admin review: Change notification emails are sent after admin review to ensure relevance and accuracy. The Updates page itself is always available immediately after the overnight sync completes.

How to Use Updates

    Go to More → Updates

    Navigate to the Updates page from the top navbar — click More, then select Updates.

    Filter your view

    Use the filters to narrow down by trademark name or number, date range, change type (status change, document added, field update), or portfolio. This is especially useful if you manage many trademarks.

    Click a change to see before / after

    Each change entry shows the old value and new value side by side — so you can instantly see what exactly changed (e.g. status changed from "Objected" to "Accepted").

    Download documents

    For document changes, click the document link in the change entry to download the official file.

Update Schedule

Changes are detected overnight as part of the daily registry sync. New changes are available in the Updates page each morning. The full history is retained — you can scroll back to see every change ever detected on any trademark in your portfolio.
