What is AI Exam Response?

When the India Patent Office raises objections against a trademark application, the attorney must file a detailed Examination Report (ER) response. Drafting this response requires identifying the objections, researching conflicting cited marks, and constructing legal arguments — a process that can take hours.

You upload the ER PDF, optionally add your attorney notes, and the AI generates a complete, jurisdiction-appropriate draft reply — citing legal principles, distinguishing cited marks, and addressing each objection raised by the examiner. The draft is ready to review, edit, and download as a formatted Word document.

How It Works

    Upload the Examination Report PDF

    Download the ER PDF from the IP India portal and upload it to the tool. The system extracts the application details, examiner's objections, and all cited conflicting marks automatically.

    Add Attorney Notes (optional)

    Before generating, you can add your own notes — specific arguments you want included, facts about the client's mark, or instructions to the AI. These are woven into the relevant argument sections of the draft.

    AI Generates the Draft

    The AI analyses the objections, cross-references each cited mark against the India trademark database, and drafts a structured reply letter — typically complete in under two minutes.

    Review and Download as Word

    The draft appears inline for review. Download it as a formatted Word (.docx) document ready for attorney sign-off and filing. All past responses are saved in your history.
